Many Infuse owners have been waiting for this day for a long time. The Samsung Infuse 4G was released in May 2011 and was promised to be upgraded to Gingerbread, however the update from AT&T was delayed and the device continued to operate on Android 2.2 through the end of the year. Those who own the device will now benefit from improved copy and paste functionality, a redesigned keyboard, improved power management, a download manager and new widgets. The push is not being sent over-the-air, so users wanting to update will need to download the latest version of Samsung’s Kies Mini to upgrade their devices.
