Verizon has recently brought back the “Can you hear me now” guy, but this time it’s a little bit different. His new phrase is “Yes, I can hear you now” and he’s definitely poking fun at AT&T when he says this. Of course, Verizon is the one behind it all but he’s a great candidate for it, guess that’s why he’s back.
Now that Verizon and AT&T have to share the iPhone, this is only the beginning of their battles I believe. Recently, both companies put out new commercials, taking a jab at each others network. These are funny commercials and I can only imagine what’s next to come from either carrier.
To start off, Verizon released a commercial throwing a jab at AT&T’s reputation for dropped calls, panning over an iPhone as a voice-over intones: “It’s beautiful, it’s intelligent and even genius. But does your network work?” AT&T then released their own new commercial responding quickly showing Verizon’s inability to handle a voice call and web-surfing at the same time.

Did you get a laugh out of those or do you agree? Either way, let us know what you think. Keep in mind, AT&T will have to change that commercial as soon as Verizon releases the iPhone 5. It will have simultaneous voice and data as well as their new devices coming out very soon on LTE. What will AT&T do then? Leave your comments in the box below.
