Thanks to a tip, we have the latest details on the special upgrade offer from Verizon Wireless for customers who purchased and activated new smartphones, feature phones or certified pre-owned phones between 11/26/2010 and 01/10/2011.
The deal is this, current Verizon customers who purchased and activated new smartphones, feature phones or certified pre-owned phones between 11/26/2010 and 01/10/2011 may be eligible to receive up to a $200 Visa debit card when they purchase an iPhone 4 at full retail price by 02/28/2011 and return their existing phone.
Customers who are within the 30-day Return & Exchange Policy period can return their device (subject to the restock fee) and revert to CPE until iPhone 4 becomes available. Customers outside the Return & Exchange Policy period, or who do not have CPE to revert to, may want to consider this special promotion.
Eligible customers will receive one of the following:
If the customer purchased and activated a Smartphone, they will receive a Visa debit card worth $200.
If the customer purchased and activated a feature phone or Certified Pre-Owned device, they will receive a Visa debit card worth $75.

- Customers who submitted or received a rebate on their original purchase are eligible.
- iPhone 4 must be purchased at full retail price from Verizon Wireless direct channels only.
- To qualify for the debit card, iPhone 4 must be activated with the same mobile telephone number as the phone to be exchanged.
- If customers return or exchange their Verizon Wireless iPhone 4, they will no longer be eligible for the debit card.
