Windows Phone 7 unlocker released

You may have already seen this over the Thanksgiving holiday but just in case some didn’t we are sharing it with everyone here. A new tool called ChevronWP7 gives consumers the ability to unlock a WP7 device without a Marketplace developer account. Did you expect to hear that?!

Unlocking allows the sideloading of experimental applications that otherwise can’t be published to the marketplace, such as those which access private or native APIs. ChevronWP7 has taken the pain out of the process involved and put together a more simple way that will allow anyone to unlock any WP7 device on the market using a USB cable and just a couple clicks. This tool is completely safe and reversible for the phone. You can even relock the phone using the same application. Isn’t this handy? What do you think?
