Thanks to PPCGeeks member BooDaddy for finding more news for WP7. Today New York had the privileges of receiving the Samsung Omnia 7. Key features include: 1GHz Qualcomm processor (the same as the Google Nexus One), a 4″, 800 x 480 AMOLED display, A-GPS Navigation and also has a 5MP autofocus camera which also shoots 720p video in H.264 and WMV formats. Most of these features we already knew from previous rumors that were going around. Isn’t it great to know the device is even more than we expected? Wired.com has more details on the release that can be found here.
We previously wrote about companies taking surveys and having doubts about the success of WP7. Read an article from Joe Belfiore, Microsoft’s Vice-President for Windows Phone Program Management, as he shares his opinions and thoughts towards WP7’s success. Belfiore has a favorite word when he talks about Windows Phone 7: “holistic.” Read more about why here.
