T-Mobile seems to be the USA carrier really helping Android take off, and today, they unveiled yet another Android phone, the Motorola DEFY. This is a “rough and rugged” handset that comes with a 3.7″ WVGA screen which is scratch-resistant, DLNA support, a “Flash-Lite enabled browser”, 5MP camera with auto-focus and LED flash, and of course the MOTOBLUR UI.
According to the press release:
“Motorola DEFY is scratch and water resistant as well as dust proof, protecting you from life’s little challenges such as a sudden rain shower to a drop in the sand. Pre-installed on the DEFY, CrystalTalk PLUS vanquishes noisy environments with two microphones that intelligently filter out background noise and amplify your voice so you don’t have to shout.”
While there was no mention of pricing, they did confirm that it would be a T-Mobile USA exclusive and it would be available in time for the holiday season.
