HTC announced today the release of the HTC Touch 2 available in the US on October 8. The is new device is compact and will be one of the first devices on the market with Windows Mobile 6.5. Users will be able to utilize all the new services available with Microsoft’s newest mobile operating system including Microsoft My Phone and Windows Mobile Marketplace. The Touch2 will be enhanced with HTC’s TouchFlo and will be fully touch enable. Preloaded on the Touch2 will be Google Maps for Mobile and YouTube.
Users will also be able to use the enhanced messaging, new Internet Explore Mobile, and a zoom bar for enlarging text. The new Internet Explorer Mobile also supports Adobe flash so users now can view Youtube videos directly from the browser.
The HTC Touch2 will be available in Asian and European markets in late 2009.
